Merry Hall - A JC Nichols home
This project was the kind of work that makes you slow down in the best way. Every time I walked into this historic home, I felt the weight of what it means to add something new to a space that has held so much life already, so many seasons, so many stories.
To be trusted with that is an honor I don’t take lightly.
There’s a special magic in creating art that isn’t meant to be moved, sold, or stored away, but lived with. A mural becomes part of the home’s everyday rhythm, the morning light, the laughter in the hallway, the quiet moments that happen when no one’s watching. It becomes memory scenery. And knowing this will be part of this family’s childhood backdrop is genuinely priceless to me.
Kansas City, thank you. Truly. Thank you for trusting small business artists, for championing handmade work, and for choosing character and craft over cookie-cutter. This city continues to show up for creatives in a way that makes me feel both grounded and wildly inspired.
And now… hello, 2026. ✨ I’m stepping into this year full of gratitude and a calendar that’s already starting to stack with projects I can’t wait to share. If you’ve been dreaming up something for your home or business, I’d love to hear what you’re envisioning.
Thank you for being here for the growth, the paint splatters, the “trust the process” moments, and the finished walls that make it all worth it.
xx
